A New Beginning

Folks, there is another side of the story I have not told you yet. After my lead training for escalation agent was concluded in mid February this year. While my co trainees and I were in the process of getting ourselves used to answering escalated calls, we had a general assembly. At the general assembly or simply a general meeting we were informed the electric company that hired our Call Center will no longer renew their contract with Manila, Philippines Call Center.

Did I worry about becoming jobless? To be honest, yes. However, all of us were given assurance by the Call Center we are working for, we are to be transferred to other account. Lucky for us, the Call Center we are working for has several accounts. Some of the accounts are in the process of hiring employees. I was first endorsed to a gaming account unfortunately I did not pass the tech exam.

One morning, I was looking out from the terrace and noticed the bright light of the sun slowly rising from the horizon. I thought to myself. Why worry? There will always be a morning to start a new day, a new beginning. There will always be sunshine after the storm. I was already thinking of applying with another Call Centers while on vacation leave waiting for our HR to call me to be endorsed to another account. I gave myself a deadline to make up my mind and make a final decision. My phone rang. It was a call from our HR.

Now folks, I am on training for an in house account of the Call Center I had served for five years. I made a decision to stay with the same Call Center that hired me five years ago for the reason. I like the account I was endorsed to. One thing more is to avoid the hustle of preparing and collating the pre-employment requirements should I apply with another Call Center. Truly, there is beautiful morning each day. It gives hope for a new beginning. I took these sunrise photos from the terrace of my new home.

I can imagine how it must be
an anxious time for you JP...
not knowing what the future holds
for you tomorrow, or if you'll
ever secure another job to fill
your stomach. Believe me, I went
through that before.

Glad that things have turned out
for the better in the end... Thank
God .I like the parable of the sun you mentioned. No matter how
heavy the storm is, a new day brings with it new life. We are
never the same forever, no matter
how life gets us down.

Good luck dear. May the Lord
continue to bless you with
happiness and strength in all
your undertakings

@Webbietadyl- How I wish I could send you a package of sunshine from Manila, Philippines. :)@Bear Wife- Thanks for the good wishes my friend. Actually, you gave me the idea to write this post when you posted the You Tube of Kevin Costner and the Modern West in your blog. The song was The Sun Will Rise Again. You dedicated the song to the Japanese.
