Music Magic

Lauren Alaina
I chatted with my eleven year old niece on Facebook at around 10:30 in the evening last night. I asked for her bet on American Idol she typed without hesitation Lauren Alaina. I thought she would like a guy because she had been a fan of David Archuleta, runner up on 7th American Idol.

David Archuleta
My niece loves music. She plays violin as a member of String Ensemble at their school in Singapore. The group won silver in 2008 at Singapore Youth Festival and gold in 2009. Winning for gold the group was treated for a week trip to New York in November 2010. Singaporean kids dominated the group only two of the members are Filipinos, my niece and a boy a year younger than my niece.

Here are some souvenirs of the New York trip.

Really Ms.jolly these kids are inspirational , you should feel very proud for having such niece. Hope she never leave the talent in life .

I used to be a keyboard player in school after coming to college left it :(

@Jec- The prediction is she will outsell Scotty with the album. Hmmm.. let see. They are both winners after all. @sudhi- I started learning to play guitar in high school. When I went to college I worked and studied to support my schooling. I had no money to buy my own guitar. :(

@cLai ♥ - My niece had a chance to shake hand with David Archuleta when he went to Singapore. Two years ago, I guess. My niece said she did not wash her right hand for a day. :)@Webbielady - Yes, she is very talented. But my sister in law has to make sure she does her homework too. She is a good swimmer, likewise. My favorite sport. :)
