New Years Resolution

Every beginning of the year it looks like a fad for everyone to create a list about the things they plan to do for the whole year. That is good.  But I hope those who promised themselves of improvements and changes they would do for 2013 considered the pros and cons of whatever they have on the list.

For those who boldly promised themselves to quit smoking. Have they considered gradually or totally quit from the habit of smoking? Smoking is addictive.  Consider that as one of the predicament you may encounter. If the quit smoking thing, is among your list, quit going to smoking area during your break time when at work. You may also consider shying away from smoker friends. To the ladies who promised savings as their priorities, avoid shopping malls. You may be enticed to fit a pair of pants on reduced price sale.  And ... boom! There goes with the New Years Resolution.

I do not know about you folks. I just want a stress free 2013. Changes and improvements could be done anytime of the year. It is a matter of discipline that counts. I encourage everyone not to wait for a new, New Year to come to start the change. Life is too short. If you want to be a better person, think of something beautiful, think happy thoughts. Whatever positive thoughts you input in your brain and body, they will radiate in your outward appearance and well being.  The positive vibe will create a beautiful... YOU

@Luke Regler - (lol) Better not commit and let the ball rolling as event comes. Right... surfing is fun but we got fine weather in Manila at this time. No flood. :) @Jidhu Jose- Thanks will check on that one.

Well put! Resolutions no matter how tricky, are always good. And what you said is so true. Think beautiful, think happy and it will show in your personality. Nice post!

Hi JP,
Some of your resolutions are similar to mine a.o losing weight, exercise,
drink more water, earlier to bed.
Let's hope that we shall succeed.
Good luck.

My resolutions have already been broken. They didn't even last a month. The Diet, Getting in Shape, Not stressing over work, and not drinking alcohol - All shot down! I guess I will try next year!
