The Princess Holiday

By the virtue of the power vested in Her Highness Jolly Princess declared 17th of August as Her Special Non Working Holiday.

Yes, was granted a day vacation leave last Tuesday, 17th of August. I had the opportunity to do blog hopping and visit the communities I joined. I had time to watch some movies inside my room. I thought of using my DVD player and television set once in a while. I do not want them to miss me. I do not have time to watch television shows. I seldom use my television and its partner, the DVD player. Ever since I start publishing my blog I had neglected some of my hobbies like watching movies and reading. I bought some old cartoon CD movies, Mulan, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles a couple of months ago. I did not have time to watch them until Tuesday this week.

Right, your Jolly Princess is a young princess until now. I could sense a wide grin on your faces, folks. I like cartoons and comedies. I could relax while I am watching them. Adult movies are good however the suspense in the story does not make me relax. I like action movies too but not when I only wanted to relax. Why did I buy the old cartoon movies? It is because they were on fifty percent off the original price. After the cartoons I watched The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I bought the Lord of the Rings CDs a couple of years ago, also on a discounted price. I had watched the movies countless times. I missed the popcorn. Nachos dipped in salad dressings were best substitutes.

After watching all the CDs I tried the new battery on my red wall clock. Twisted some of the connecting wires inside the battery case, to my surprised it worked! My red wall clock is alive and running until now. I posted the story about my red wall clock titled Saying Goodbye. Sometimes, I could make use of my handyman talent. Are you not glad your Princess is endows with multitude of talents? I am glad I thought of trying some tricks on the battery case and not let up hoping. Patience is virtue after all. Being my holiday, I spent the rest of the day eating and sleeping. I almost had migraine from over sleeping.

Your opening sentence is a surprise for Indonesia, which also celebrates its independence day on August 17th.

I love comedies, too, Jolly! You deserved your day off to be a PRINCESS in front of the TV! I love evening TV, but never watch during the morning or afternoon.
