For the Love of Nature

From the terrace of my apartment. These bright rays of the sun bathing the river below.
Every time I woke up during my day off from work. I love the sound of chirping house sparrows when I would open my window and door leading to the terrace.  I just could not have a chance snapping photos of them. They normally appeared when the sun is to start rising.

I admire the sun as it little by little takes charge of the horizon indicating a bright new day! A new beginning! The bright rays striking the river close to my apartment as if to say “ Hey! Buddy wake up! It is morning!” Here are some photos I took from my terrace. I may not have taken the photo of the sun itself. At least you could see its rays passing through the leaves of a tree.
The entrance to the terrace.
The bright rays of the rising sun passing through the leaves of the trees.
A bright new day! A new beginning!

Hi Jolly Princess - What a great location you have right next to the river and that is a very nice terrace. The birds in the morning must be wonderful. I enjoyed the photos and also reading your last post about the respectful trip out to your dad's burial spot. Thank you kindly for your comment on my blog and I hope you will visit often. Very best regards to you, John

I love them too, I think sparrows are the most nature some people ever get a chance to see.

I guess house sparrows are nice to see in some parts of the world.

I detest this bird. They will our native birds i.e. Eastern Bluebirds, Woodpeckers, Purple Martins. They want their nesting sites. I will shoot one if I can as they aren't protected by law. They belong in Europe...where they are native.

Hope they don't kill your native birds.

Hi JP

Birdsong in the morning always nice, I have motorbikes and someone selling something, Natures sounds are so much more refreshing. Lovely photos.

Hi JP I'm surprised you get any work done at all, if I had a terrace like yours I'd sit in it all day long.

JP, I needed to come back and tell you just how beautiful the view from your terrace is. Your photos are really super.

Sorry for the rant about the House Sparrows.

Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day!

@Luke Regler- It is also nice to see your smiling face on my blog Luke. I am glad for the visit despite your hectic schedule. @Ryan- I have some growing plants in my terrace. I am planning to add more soon as I have the time. I am choosing plants that can tolerate the bright summer sun.:)

@Jean- Hahahah!. I was just teasing you Jean, about you not liking the birds. I am glad to read your comment again on same topic. I remember my late father did not like sparrows. He was a farmer, from the southern part of Manila, my place of birth. Sparrows would gather in flock and pick on his un- harvested rice grains. Farmers consider these birds as pest in my hometown. But those rice field sparrows are of different species from those I see on my terrace.

My blog list. What they are blogging about. ♥
