Body Scrub

Last Saturday, 14th of July, I was at the mall again with my niece. Nope, not to buy another shoes but for some toiletries and groceries.  It is nice to be with someone who could carry come of my grocery bags. My niece thought of buying a new card case. She showed me the new card from their office for their medical benefit. The card looks like an automated machine card. Once the holder is hospitalized or go to a clinic, the holder of the card should show the card. The admitting office of the hospital or clinic would swipe the card and the holder of the card gets the medical attention.

I like the card case we found at the luggage section of the department store. It is an expensive brand but we bought it on fifty percent off. I told my niece I want one as her Christmas present to me comes December. She laughed at the thought of it. By then, it will be more expensive as it will back to its original prize. Accordingly, her Christmas presents will be on strict budget as he just started working. She is saving for a new laptop computer. She wants to retire the Toshiba computer she used in her college days.  I countered who knows it will again be on fifty percent sale comes Christmas.

After a quick lunch we proceeded to a shop selling toiletries. The sister of my brother in law gave my niece a body scrub. My niece likes it a lot. The body scrub is from Japan. Now almost gone, she wants to buy one. I led her to the store that sells imported stuff as I know her taste for her things. The sales lady at the store had a wide grin when I mentioned what we were looking for. She showed us their top of the line body scrub. I almost drop my shoulder bag when the sales lady told us the prize, one thousand one hundred ninety five pesos, around thirty dollars.

We brought home some bag of groceries, a local brand of body scrub, and a face towel. I am glad my niece knows how to control herself. At least she knew what and when to spend her hard earned monies.
