Fish Talk

On weekend I would buy fish as requested by my niece. She likes fried "galunggong fish" mackerel scad. The trouble is my whole house would smell fishy. I live in a small space. Air freshener helps, but too expensive.

Thanks to some online tips. I found a less expensive and effective way of getting rid of the fishy smell. I would boil lemon in a cup of water for about five minutes with drops of citronella scented oil.

When water cools off. I store the mixture in a jar and put inside the ref. Then, boil it again when needed. By the way citronella is a good repellent for mosquitoes and roaches.
