The Busy Bee

It rained last Friday night at around seven in the evening. I guess some employees from day time work stayed late at their office for a while. It was to elude from getting wet. I went to the place I used to wait for a ride, one and a half hour earlier. It takes only fifteen minutes from same waiting area to get to the office.

Surprise! Hordes of people waiting to get a ride!!! The line was too long!

I decided not to line up with them and looked for a taxi to take me to work. Double unfortunate events, there was no taxi passing by without heads at the back or beside the driver seat. I sent text message to my team captain I will be late for my training. 1 arrived at the office an hour late. I used to stand up or asked questions to the training officer to keep myself awake.

Cups of coffee did not work. The training concluded at seven in the morning, Saturday. We enjoyed boxes of pizza and a cake from our colleagues who celebrated their birthday during the training.

After happily eating and chatting with my colleagues, about the three days training. I went to see the owner of the house I am to transfer to. The construction of the house was done. The owner will just simply paint the house, and ready for occupancy. The house is cute with tiled floors. Sad to say the owner increased the price to a thousand pesos more. Accordingly, the tiles on the flooring caused the price increase.

The owner also requested me to pay in full the one month advance and two months deposit. At least two possible tenants had visited the house. I paid two months deposit. I made a promise to pay the one month advance on or before Friday this coming week. A male American who works at 700 Club is willing to get the house. I have high hopes the guy will not pay in full before I am able to post the balance next week.

Sigh… Well, I guess that is business. This gives me a challenge to save and buy my own house in the near future.

Pleasant morning to you JP

My, what a lot of occurrences
within a week. I pray that you
will be able to secure the
cute little house too. But
if you do not, there are always
many many more cute houses just
waiting to be explored . Things
always work out for the better
when it comes to the Lord

Such a busy week for you. The idea of asking questions during training is a good one. I used to fall asleep, too. May be because I only listened and not participating. Nice post! Happy Sunday to you. :)

@Bear Wife - I am also praying I would get it. It is a small house. But I like how it was constructed. Neighbors are good. Very accessible to all areas in Manila. I could get a ride easily within 24 hours. @Balqis - Busy is not only an adjective for me. It is part of my active daily life. But when I am home that is the time I get lazy. (lol)

@Webbielady- Sporadic weather change happens anytime in the Philippines. We even get rain during Lenten week. That is supposed to be in the middle of summer months.@H. Nizam - Thanks Harry. Have a great weekend as well. @sudhi- I love pizza. I do not know know if you have Yellow Cab pizza in India. I just love the New Yorks Finest from Yellow Cab pizza.

I have had many days like that too. At least you had pizza and cake. That took a little sting out of the day.

Hope you have a great week this week! Take care and thanks for your comments!

@Zezebel- There are times I have to go overtime on weekend or sometimes it is my regular work shift. @Simple Sie - I do hope it will not happen again. I do not want another deduction from my attendance score. :)@Steve Bossenberger- I get a bit frustrated actually. I just consoled by self by reminding me that life has its ups and downs. Like rain after sunshine. :)
