Blog Widgets

If you had been following my blog you must have noticed I had been updating my designs.  Please do not fret okay? I do not have obsessive compulsive disorder. It is just that I want my blog to radiate my blog title what else but your favorite Jolly Princess @ World Wide Web. My blog URL

That is good, you are smiling now. Ever since I had switched to the new template I discovered there are more designs and widgets I could do or add to improve my blog design. I added Link Within for easy reference to my older or earlier posts. I had seen many of my blogger friends used Link Within and thought of trying it on my blog. It would help my readers to read my previous posts without going to the hassle of clicking the button Older Posts. At first I hesitated to add Link Within because it makes my blog look too crowded. For the time being I will leave it here. Let me figure out if indeed it will be useful later on.

I also added Shout Mix for my visitors who are shy to leave me a comment. You may simply leave me a smiley should you want me to know you visited. In this way I could visit you as well. It does not matter if you do not own a Website or blog. You can use your e-mail address Twitter, Facebook or other Website account. I will not see your account if you are not a blogger. You have to type your name on the designated box. I deleted the widgets from the other communities I joined. For the reason it takes several minutes for the widgets to load in my blog.

Blogging is made easy nowadays. The limit is set in your own imagination. When started the hobby of blogging, it was a trial and error for me. The trial is good, minimal error is just fine. Did you know that coming home from work that first thing I logged in to, is my blog? Love your own, what else? Not exactly, I wanted to find out who visited my blog. And, should they left comments. I would like to thank them for making me smile. Yes, it feels good when someone on the other side of WWW cares of what you are doing.

I deleted Link Within today  07.24.10. I used it only as a trial. It makes my blog posts load too long.

New Blog Template

Surprise! I got a new blog template!

Yup! I did change my blog template because I am having trouble viewing my blog using Internet Explorer. I thought if I update my blog template to one of the new ones recommended by blogspot.com. I would be able to view my blog just like I used too with IE. To my dismay, my expectation did not happen. Since my previous template was on old one. I was unable to go back to it anymore. If you had been visiting my blog, this used to be how it looked. 

 

Well, I would say not bad for the update I did. I chose the simple template for me to be able to design my blog.  Pink is not actually one of my favorite colors but it denotes being young. Being a princess, I chose the color. My favorite colors are red, black and gold, extreme right? I like other colors of course and I can match colors to create a design. You got it!  I like every flower that grows on planet earth. However, roses and orchids are my favorites. It is not easy to design a blog. The thing is. I had to allot a certain time to do it. I love designing my own blog. I want my blog to look happy.  I am Jolly Princess after all. 

I had great time putting all together all the gadgets to make my blog looked this way. It was a bit tiring though. Yet it was worth it, when I see the end result. I mentioned about my internet browser. I am using Mozilla Firefox this time. I am not sure what will work for you. For me, my internet connection is faster when I used Firefox. I can view my blog in the manner I want it. I still use IE on other Websites, though. So I have two browsers I used alternately. I guess maybe there is something I need to do with IE. My busy brain has not figured it out yet for now.
