London Lad

This is the very first photo my nephew posted a day after he arrived in London. This was taken from his cell phone by a friend.  Funny, when he was on his way to UK we were anxious monitoring him on Facebook.
 .
When the plane landed in Doha Qatar, he posted a comment he is in Qatar already for the connecting flight to London. We, his close relatives commented on his post. Some of his friends replied on his post too.  The next post we read was he was about to sleep, already in London. The following day, the post was he was watching rugby in South Wimbledon with some friends.

Moonlit Dawn

I posted about the sunlight here are photos of the moon I took at dawn from my terrace. This was at around five am today. The lady street cleaner working on the bridge was probably wondering if I was taking her photos. I am just fascinated by the crescent moon. What was I doing at the terrace at five in the morning? Today is my day off from work. Friday and Saturdays are my day from work. I will have same work schedule until the end of March. I was hanging my laundry at the terrace when I chanced upon this lovely moon.

Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas!

I had been away for almost a month online to attend to various activities last month and even as the Holiday Season come.  Last November, I started working on some shopping and decorating my apartment to set the mode for Christmas. I made it simple decors I do not want to spend a lot. I got tired of working overtime just to have additional budget. Maintaining a bigger home costs more than when I was staying in a room good for only one person. The good thing about having a bigger apartment is I could decorate my house and has bigger space when my family members would visit.

Who Is That Girl?

This is another old photo of a high school teen. I know you guys are grinning. This is of the course the lady who refused to grow old and be a little princess in her dreams.

The skirt was my school uniform. The so called naughty boys, or who knows even the girls would look up whenever I went up the stairs at our school campus. Lo! They got frustrated. I used to wear short pant underneath my skirt. My mother used to scold me for wearing mini skirt however it was quite comfortable to wear. The reason I guess my mother had, was not because she did not want me to expose my legs. It was because she was saving on her laundry soap. She had to wash my skirts and shorts. Mini skirts by the way, are never out of fashion in the Philippines. Nowadays however, I would rather wear slack pants and legging jeans.

One of my blogger friends, requested me to post some of the old photos I had kept. I mentioned about the old photos and letters in my previous post. We are each others fans. She is the ever zany busy mom that you would love her sumptuous simple recipes. Want to get to know her? I am sharing the secrets.

That is all to today, folks. Your princess had been too busy lately. Thank you for all of your unwavering support. Have a wonderful day… everyone!

Showing Your Best Smile

Have you ever been asked to pose for a photo session?

I bet the first thing you would think of, is to look your best. You have no idea who would be looking at your photos. For sure you will give your best smile. There are times when we have our photos taken and we do not like the outcome. We want to have another shot, to look our best. I recall what my sister used to tell me. I need not worry about not being so good looking in my photos.  At least I could make people happy by laughing at my photos. It is simple way of saying she wants not so good looking photos. So, we have something to laugh at.

Wacky smile. Yikes! :)

Smiling in front of the camera had its evolution too. Like many other events or phenomena. Here is a sample of a modern way of smiling, otherwise known as wacky smile. Did you say these two smile models have similarities with me? Yeah, to be honest, I am unable to deny they are my relatives, lest they are going to disown me. The girl is my niece and the boy is my nephew. Now … you know.  These kids just loved to take their photos from their cell phones. They call it wacky smile, or wacky pose. Whatever …

My niece is playful when it comes to taking photos. She had countless photos akin to what you see in here. She does not really care how she would look like. All she cares is to make the beholders smile. She is nice looking too. She is never bothered taking her photos with contorted face. For the sake of art, albeit. My nephew is also very playful even when he was a boy. He would crack jokes, we all ended up laughing. Not on his jokes but how corny the jokes were.

My blog list. What they are blogging about. ♥
